To this site's regular readers, I apologise for my absence of late. I wish I could blame it on the need for a personal wino watch. But things have been particularly dry of late (indoors, that is). And who am I to talk. At least Amy has started turning up again, although - at least according to The Sun - not totally successfully:

Sometimes I wonder if I live on my own planet. The current reason this thought is going through my head is because I only got to listen to Amy Winehouse's fantastic album Back to Black last weekend on our way to the beach.
The album is a gem in every sense of the word! Winehouse's voice is so powerful that it gives you goosebumps instantly. Her breathtaking album was released last year and it took me all this time to get around to listening to it.
I sincerely hope she pulls through!

she looks ill, her parents should step in because it is seemingly obvious her husband isn't supporting her in the way a husband should.
It is sad that on the same day that she gets nominated for the Mercury Prize she has to lose her shit.
Maybe her and Doherty have the same publicist?! They would make the grungiest couple in town.
